We had a very good week here and hope to return in 2025. To be recommended

It is well situated for exploring the surrounding areas such as Royal Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Maidstone and smaller quainter places such as Headcorn and Cranbrook. Little Melrose is spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped providing everything we needed from kitchen equipment to a washing machine, dishwasher and large fridge/freezer, and so on. We had a warm welcome from Brian and Vicky on arrival, and they were on hand if we had any problems, but, we didn't. Would highly recommend.

Set back off a road, which was busier than I expected but quiet at night so not an issue. Adequately equipped and everything appeared to work, although we didn't use the dishwasher or washing machine. We did find the sofas to be very low and ended up doubling up the base cushions to make the seat higher on one and not using the other. The beds were very comfortable. Some suggestions for additions which might be of benefit for future guests - A rubber mat for the shower, the shower base is very slippery. Also a shelf or caddy in the shower as there is nowhere to put toiletries - A washing up bowl. Filling the big butler sink to an adequate depth is very inefficient. - A hairdryer would be useful. Luckily I had taken one anyway
