Cosy and comfortable - a lovely character holiday cottage in popular Cranbrook with its working "Smock" mill - a short stroll to the deli's, specialist shops, pubs and restaurants in the town centre.

This truly adorable little cottage is situated down a lane close to the famous Union Mill in Cranbrook - the tallest surviving working smock mill in Britain. A couple of minutes walk away is the bustling high street with a wide range of interesting specialist shops, Michelin star restaurant, delicatessens, coffee shops and pubs. Just three miles away is the world-famous Sissinghurst Castle Garden, created by Vita Sackville-West. The cottage itself comes complete with a "secret garden" down a winding path and also its own garage. Shop: 750 yards  Pub: 200 yards Coast: 21 miles

Ground Floor:

Kitchen with vinyl floor, cream units housing electric oven and hob, larder fridge, freezer, microwave and dining table and chairs. 

Sitting Room is carpeted and has a very comfortable leather three seater sofa, an armchair, wood burning stove, well stocked book shelves and flat screen TV/DVD and stereo with iPod dock

Bedroom 1 with carpeting, a king-size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, table, TV point, original fireplace in exposed brickwork wall and views from the window over the lane

Second Floor:

Bedroom 2 is carpeted and has twin beds with zoned memory foam mattresses, bedside cabinets, TV, built-in cupboards with hanging space plus dressing table and chair. Fan for warm summer nights kept in the cupboard

Garden: Shared rear courtyard with small cafe table and 2 chairs and private secluded garden with a barbecue down a winding path.

Parking: In small garage at the end of the lane. Additional parking available in free public car park at the bottom of the hill.

Heating: Gas central heating and wood burning stove.
