Disappointing. TV room too small for 4 people and very uncomfortable. Property may be 500 years old but stairs and uneven flooring bordering on dangerous for children or elderly.

This cottage has lots of charm and authenticity. The owners make you feel very comfortable indeed. We stayed here in autumn so made no use of the garden which would have been slightly noisy otherwise. Sissinghurst is a top location for visiting sights such as National Trust properties. We have never lived slap bang in the middle of a village and it was a great experience, being within walking distance to the shop, the pub and the chippy. Tall people (like us) beware. You have to duck quite a bit in places but we managed to avoid any bumps on the head. Parking is great. Just as the seating, the bathroom and the beds. A great property!
