This divine thatched cottage is set in the historic sleepy village of Stanford-in-the-Vale overlooking the village green and walking distance to a great little local pub. Upon arrival you are welcomed by a pretty white cottage with thatched roof and roses growing up the outside.
Vale Cottage offers everything you would expect from a cottage with traditional beams, fireplaces with wood burners and oak flooring whilst being surprising light and spacious. The original charm and character has been mixed with modern touches with a delightful kitchen overlooking the sunny back garden and beautiful large dining table perfect for everyone to sit and enjoy catching up over dinner.
All this is complemented by two double bedrooms, a single bedroom and a contemporary bathroom on the first floor.
Set in the Oxfordshire countryside you will find the Vale of the White Horse on your door step perfect for afternoon walks, along with the picturesque market town of Faringdon, the village of Bampton where Downton Abbey is filmed and the amazing city of Oxford only 30 minutes away.
