Guests say

Guests have consistently praised The Happy Valley Pod for its tranquil and idyllic setting, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere enhanced by the local wildlife. The wood burner hot tub is frequently highlighted as a highlight, despite some comments on the time it takes to heat. The hosts, Julie and Jo, are commended for their hospitality, and the property is noted for its cleanliness and well-equipped nature, providing a cosy and romantic getaway.

Reviews consistently mention the cleanliness of the pod, with guests appreciating the tidy and well-maintained environment. One review mentioned natural products used in the hot tub, preferring them over chlorine, although they noted some debris.

The location is highly praised for its fantastic views, tranquillity, and proximity to local amenities and attractions in Chipping Norton. The presence of farm animals adds to the charm without being disruptive.

Most guests found the pod cosy and romantic, with a comfortable setting. However, one review cited a poor-quality mattress affecting their sleep, which slightly lowers the comfort score.

Facilities like the wood burner hot tub, kitchen equipment, and the overall setup are well-received. Some guests noted the hot tub takes a while to heat, and there's no temperature gauge, which suggests room for improvement in maintenance.

Several reviews mention thoughtful touches such as complimentary snacks and drinks, which contribute to the welcoming experience. However, it should be noted that such gifts, while appreciated, may not be guaranteed for every stay.

Fantastic views around here. Loved watching the animals in the morning/evenings. The pod was clean and had everything we could need for a few days away. Would definitely come back here to enjoy the piece and quiet.

You could feel every lump and bump of the coils. It really took away from the experience. Everything else was lovely.
