For day visits to London, the Goring & Streatley railway station offers easy access to the Oxford-London line and a variety of welcome pubs serving wonderful food and tasty local beers. There are also two well-stocked convenience stores in the area for last-minute shopping and a tennis club.

Shower room could do with some coat hooks plus a shelf over the basin or an extended counter top. The kitchen sink is very small found it difficult to fill kettle. Chest of drawers could not open bottom three drawers as up against heater. No instructions for cooker or hob. A dustpan and brush would be handy to keep things tidy. Although a tv is not advertised one would be a good addition as no wifi little or no phone or portable radio reception ( we took our own ). Overall had a great stay and would recommend.
