Guests say

Coombe Place House is consistently praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and stunning views. Guests appreciate the well-stocked kitchen, comfortable rooms, and the inclusion of a hot tub. The property is ideal for large gatherings, offering ample space and a peaceful setting. The housekeeper, Janette, is commended for her helpfulness and local knowledge. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall experience is highly positive, with many guests eager to return.

Reviewers unanimously highlight the exceptional cleanliness of the property, with one guest stating they've never experienced a holiday rental so clean. This indicates a very high standard of cleanliness.

The location is described as peaceful with no light pollution, offering beautiful countryside views and proximity to walking routes and local pubs. The serene setting contributes to a restful experience.

Guests find the property comfortable, with spacious rooms and comfortable beds. The house accommodates large groups without compromising on comfort, making it an ideal retreat.

The property boasts a range of facilities including a hot tub, BBQ, and games. However, some feedback suggests the addition of outdoor lighting and mirrors in smaller rooms would improve the experience.

While guests express gratitude for the welcome goodies, there is no consistent mention of gifts across the reviews. Therefore, it cannot be determined if thoughtfulness in the form of gifts is a standard practice, and the score is set to null.

Comfortable lounges and bedrooms. Just a shame the kitchen is a bit small for gathering as a group. Lovely country views and hot tub. Good pubs and walks close by.

Our two dogs loved the garden and the little ones enjoyed seeing the horses every day. Lovely country walks from the house and lots of pubs nearby for relaxing lunches.

It's a beautiful home, and the views of the surrounding countryside were fabulous. We were celebrating my milestone birthday. We felt quite at home there, the children loved flying kites, and playing game's in the garden. Sandra Deane and family.
