On the first floor, you will also find a sleek bathroom for your relaxation. This property is arranged over three floors, and offers two well-presented bedrooms on the ground floor, a double and a twin. The largest of these islands is Brownsea Island, where Baden Powell began the Scout Movement. To the west is the 'Isle of Purbeck', which offers visitors scenic countryside, dotted with quaint villages and stunning seascapes, plus Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Corfe Castle are well worth a visit. The local beaches at Sandbanks provide excellent facilities for all kinds of watersports. Alternatively, visit the neighbouring family friendly seaside resort of Bournemouth and within driving distance is the fascinating New Forest National Park.     The only thing we could complain about is the difficulties we had trying to communicate with the Sykes holiday cottages prior to our arrival regarding our booking.
