The Cornstore in Cornwall receives high praise for its cleanliness, peaceful location, and welcoming host, Norman. Guests appreciate the well-equipped property, thoughtful welcome packs, and the owner's local knowledge. Despite minor concerns about a building site and sofa comfort, the overall experience is deemed excellent, with many guests planning to return.
Guests consistently mention that The Cornstore is spotlessly clean, with only one review noting a need for more attention to cleaning. The overwhelming majority of positive comments justify a high score.
The property's location is described as peaceful and quiet, ideal for star gazing and centrally placed for visiting Cornwall. One review mentions a building site, but this does not seem to detract significantly from the location's overall appeal.
The majority of guests find the property comfortable and well-equipped. However, there are a few mentions of an uncomfortable sofa and a soft bed, which slightly lower the score.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being well-equipped and modern. Some guests missed having a dishwasher, and there were isolated issues with an en-suite shower and rusty items, which suggest room for improvement.
Many reviews express gratitude for the welcome packs provided by the owner, which include local delicacies and other treats. While these gifts are highly appreciated, it is noted that such gestures are at the owner's discretion and not guaranteed.

Well appointed accomodation had everything we needed. Was a great base for exploring Cornwall with easy access to the A30 only a few minutes drive away.

He couldnât have been more welcoming and helpful. He clearly takes a lot of pride in his cottages and it shows in the fact that they literally have everything you could need. The use of space is fantastic, the views are beautiful and itâs so peaceful. Really easy to visit all of Cornwall from this central location, nowhere was much more than an hour. If you want somewhere well kept, comfortable and relaxing, you couldnât find a better place than this. Highly recommend it and we would definitely go back.
