Situated on the Devon border, you’re well-positioned to visit some of the wonderful attractions that this area has to offer, including family-favourite days out at the Big Sheep (16 miles) and the Milky Way Adventure Park (11.5 miles). Ticking all sorts of boxes for visitors with younger guests, this two-bed holiday home is a great choice for families sleeping four guests in total. On a lazy day, let the kids run off some steam in the swimming pool or the children’s play area without having to venture too far from home.
The ground floor of this unique lodge-style accommodation is laid out in a sociable, open-plan style, complete with French doors providing stunning lake views and access to your patio space. Featuring a lounge, kitchen and diner, this amiable space allows you to chat, listen to music and watch TV whilst cooking dinner, sitting down to eat or retiring to the sofa. The property’s family bathroom is located just off the kitchen. Find two splendid bedrooms upstairs, a double with lovely lake views that you’ll adore waking up to and a twin just opposite.
Alongside the attractions on the Devon side of the border, there’s also plenty to do on the Cornwall side as well. Spend time in Bude (6.5 miles), a seaside tourist hub with a string of great beaches, a freshwater sea pool and a surf school with equipment to rent and lessons for beginners. In the summer months, kids will love visiting The Monster Slip and Slide experience that’s just outside of town (9 miles). Further pristine beaches including Widemouth Beach (9 miles) and Sandymouth Bay (5 miles) are similarly just a drive away.

We had an amazing holiday. The lodge was extremely clean and all the equipment was of a high quality. The paths around the ponds were a real treat and we enjoyed our time at the pool. Would highly recommend this site. Thank you for a fantastic week

We had a wonderful time in our lodge. The location was beautiful, with plenty of walks nearby. There were enough facilities on site to keep the family entertained when we were not out and about - particularly the pool and the games room. It was a quick drive to the Co-Op in Kilkhampton and not too far to some fabulous beaches.

Absolutely lovely place, beautiful scenery and fairly near major roads so was easy to travel.
