The property is appreciated for its location, convenient for visiting family and exploring Cornwall, although Camborne itself receives mixed reviews.
While the bed comfort receives mixed feedback, with some finding it uncomfortable, the property is generally considered cosy for short stays. The size and comfort of the seating and the narrow staircase are noted concerns.
The hot tub is a highlight, despite some operational issues. The property is equipped for self-catering, but comments about the fridge size and kitchen facilities suggest room for improvement. Maintenance issues like the broken parasol and privacy concerns due to overlooking windows and CCTV are noted.
Several guests mention a lovely welcome with some goodies, which adds a thoughtful touch to their arrival. However, as not all reviews mention this, it may not be a consistent offering.

The location is good- Cambourne itself isnât nice, but it is really close to hayle st Ives parran porth and Newquay. The hot tub is fab and the outside bit is nice. The place is clean, but as stated it is very very small. I have multiple bruises from the âstair caseâ Iâm 5ft 6 and 12 stone and if your much bigger you would struggle to get up and down them I think. You canât really chill out in the evening times unless you go and lay in the bed. I know itâs small, but would be so much better to have a small corner comfy sofa made or something where you can relax rather than just sitting on the two chairs. We purchased food for the first night and as we went to cook it the oven didnât work it kept tripping the electric every time we turned it on therefore we had to throw the food we had bought. We did contact Sykes but only got a response the day we were leaving. Also would have been nice to be able to put the heating on at night especially to dry wet clothes as our clothes got wet from rain. We still had a good holiday, but I wouldnât stay again and wouldnât book with Sykes.

The heating was left on after trying to contact someone to turn it off as there was no were within the snug to be able to we left after 2 days as it was unbearable to stay in such a small place on the hottest days of the summer with the heating on full ruined our honeymoon asked for a part refund and was told they left a tiny fan and because Iâd put it back in the box said we hadnât used it

The stairs are dangerous in them selves and don't suit everybody. Unfortunately didn't enjoy our stay and ended up leaving a day early
