Here, there is a TV to tune in to your favourite soaps, with an electric fire display offering a sense of comfort for the night. The kitchen is nearby with the essentials to prepare your delicious picnics for the day. Rest and rejuvenate in the cheerful four-poster bed, and the bathroom is nearby with a bath to soak in after a long day or a shower for a brisk freshen-up in the morning. There is off-road parking, which is convenient as you can pack your car with all the essentials for the beach, while the garden provides a place to enjoy a Cornish pasty before your adventures start. Explore the surrounding areas, and you will find Tintagel Castle, with links to King Arthur. This castle offers impressive views of landscapes with cliffs and beaches just below. If the tide is out, you will find Merlin's Cave, with a mystical and magical atmosphere. Bodmin Jail Attraction is another great place to explore. This museum has cells to wander through and fascinating facts to learn, but be alert, as some paranormal activity was reported in the past. The Royal Cornwall Show is another great option; it is an agricultural show with vintage cars, flower shows, and local treats to indulge in. Pentire Point is a stunning coastal walk where you can spot other attractions, such as Tintagel Castle. There are beaches nearby with surfers; this is a great place to enjoy the tranquillity of nature. If you are hungry from all of the exploring, visit The Mariners Public House in Rock. It is highly recommended by visitors in the area, with stunning estuary views and fresh oysters to try. Further afield is the charming, seaside town of Padstow with plenty of things to do! Explore the picturesque harbour, take a trip to National Lobster Hatchery, and try some local cuisine at Caffè Rojano by Paul Ainsworth. Stay at The Coach House for a refreshing nature escape.
The old market town of Camelford nearby is located close to Cornwall's north coast and is ideally situated for exploring the wild country of Bodmin Moor and the high cliffs, hidden coves, fishing villages and surfing beaches that populate this beautiful area. The shops in this old market town have delicious local produce. The South West Coastal Path is a year-round attraction and the surrounding villages and hamlets harbour a wealth of country inns and restaurants. With Wadebridge for a great day out shopping and the Camel Trail for biking and walking, Launceston the old capital of Cornwall with its 13th-century castle, Camelford with the best fish and chips you’ll ever taste, Padstow and Port Isaac for fine dining, Bossiney, Trebarwith and Tregardock beaches for surfing and the fascinating tiny worlds of the rock pools, along with Tintagel, Boscastle, Polzeath and the myriad of other coastal villages to enjoy. Be sure to check out Tintagel, where you will find a magnificent castle, Merlin’s Cave, the National Trust sites of Glebe Cliffs and Tintagel Old Post Office, and the King Arthur’s Arms Inn.
