About the property location

Storm Crest is located in the pretty village of Downderry approximately 5 miles from Looe and 2 miles from the golden sands of Whitsand Bay. The village runs along the relatively flat coast line of south east Cornwall making the sea calm and inviting and the South West coast path ideal for walkers. Downderry has a pub, a restaurant, cafe and village shop within a 5 minute walk and the same distance in the opposite direction there is a pub, restaurant and cafe at Seaton beach.

There are steps through the front garden up to the property from the triple bay parking area on the roadside, if this could be considered for those with mobility restrictions.

Both Downderry and Seaton beaches are a 5 minute walk away as are two local pubs which also sell lovely food with locally sourced ingredients, the Inn on the Shore and the Smugglers Rest, the award winning Blue Plate Restaurant, a cafe in Downderry the infamous Seaton Beach Cafe. There is a local convenience store if you'd rather eat in or dine al fresco on one of the four decking areas.

Sun Lounge

The main entrance is up the gently graded steps to a small decking area, with outside chairs and table, to the front door leading into the sun lounge. This fabulous room has a wooden floor and large windows all along the front of the property taking in the panoramic coastal views. With a white leather settee for five, two lounge chairs and a rocking chair it offers the perfect place to relax.

Lounge

Double glass doors lead from the sun lounge in to the large comfy lounge with two three seater settees, a wood effect gas fire and a 42 inch plasma TV with DVD player and full Sky TV package. There is a music center docking station for an I Player.  A beautiful and intricate chandelier hangs above from the high ceiling. There is a door from the lounge into the hallway leading to the rest of the property.

Dining Room

Two further glass doors also lead from the sun lounge to the large dining room with a stripped wooden floor and a dining table for six with another amazing glass chandelier above. There is an electric coal effect fire and a radiator for those chilly evenings. A door leads from here to the hallway, kitchen and bathroom.

Kitchen

The kitchen is beautifully laid out with all the mod cons needed, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, gas hob and double oven. With a tiled floor and raised center work station with seating around. The window looks out onto the rear garden and to the side is a door giving access to a large decking area with table, chairs and a sun umbrella along with the stunning views. From the decking there are steps leading up to the terraced rear garden.

Bedrooms

Three good size bedrooms, master bedroom has a king sized double bed with duck quilt duvet and quality bed linen, there are built in wardrobes along one wall.Second Double Bedroom with a queen size double bed. Twin Bedroom.

Bathroom

The bathroom is fully tiled with a large walk in shower cubicle, a bath with shower head over if needed, wc, sink and radiator. Next door is a separate wc.

Second lounge

This room is located beside the second double bedroom and has a wooden floor with rug over, shelves with games, books, wii consul and some DVD's which can be watched on a 21 inch TV with built in DVD player. There is a comfortable two seater  settee.

As well as the local shop, cafes, pubs and restaurants, Downderry also has a Doctors surgery.
