However the kitchen and bathroom are in need of updating, with the radiator and shelving in the bathroom dangerously loose and the kitchen hop not secured to the worktop. The garden is not enclosed completely as advertised and was overgrown and untidy. The onsite fuel cafe and bar are great with plenty of beaches bars and restaurants within a short drive

The property was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. It was just a short drive away from Falmouth town centre and some lovely beaches. A few small negatives that would be easy to sort out to make stays in the future better: We took our 2 small dogs and the garden wasn’t secure, which meant that we couldn't have the french doors open. An extra panel of trellis would solve the problem. As mentioned in other reviews, for a family of four we did need to use the booster to have enough hot water for everyone to have a short shower in the morning and to do the washing up in the evening. We looked at the timer for the water tank and it didn’t look as though we could adjust the time that the water was heating up, which was a shame. Once the red light lit up indicating that the water heater was on, we then used the dial to boost the hot water for an additional hour. One other small niggle was that the bunk beds were a bit rickety! Possibly tightening the bolts would sort that out. Other than that, we had a lovely stay, and would like to return in the future!

After an awful start to our holiday, (booked a haven site and the accommodation was filthy) booking with you the same day as we checked in, the moment we arrive we felt so happy and excited to be there. This cottage saved our family holiday. The cottage itself was beautiful, well decorated, very homely & well equipped and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable! The village was also very nice and lovely, the bar/restaurant area was really good, the staff were lovely and the food was amazing! I have already recommended this cottage and the village. Thank you for saving our holiday last minute.
