Joylands is a well-received holiday cottage in Cornwall, praised for its cleanliness, comfortable amenities, and peaceful location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped kitchen, pleasant garden views, and the proximity to local attractions. The property's garden is a highlight, offering a relaxing atmosphere. Some guests noted minor maintenance issues and suggested improvements for better sleep quality, but overall experiences have been positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
The property is consistently described as clean and well-maintained, with only a few isolated comments about specific cleaning oversights. The majority of guests were satisfied with the cleanliness, contributing to a high score in this category.
The location is generally praised for its tranquillity, proximity to local amenities, and accessibility to Falmouth and surrounding attractions. Some guests mentioned the steepness of the driveway and the benefit of having a car, but overall the location is well-regarded.
Guests find the bungalow comfortable, with several positive remarks about the beds and living spaces. However, there are comments about the light curtains affecting sleep quality and personal preferences regarding mattress firmness, which slightly lower the score.
Facilities are generally appreciated, especially the well-equipped kitchen and garden. Some guests noted issues with the cooker, shower, and minor maintenance needs, which suggests room for improvement. The presence of a washing machine and internet connectivity are positives.
There is insufficient information to score thoughtfulness accurately. While some guests were disappointed by the lack of a welcome pack, there is no mention of gifts or extra touches that would indicate the level of thoughtfulness provided by the host.

Everything you could want was there and it was in a delightful setting, with good parking facilities. Our stay was very enjoyable.

The bungalow was fab and had every thing we needed.. The garden area was great for the dog and a family bbq. The area is close enough to visit many places of interest. The only negative is that on arrival they didn't supply a small bottle milk or tea/coffee which would have been nice as most places do offer this now....especially after a long trip.
