Maple is a comfortable and spacious property in a quiet, picturesque location with lovely views, particularly from the decking area. It is well-placed for exploring Cornwall and offers a peaceful retreat. The property is generally clean and provides a good level of comfort, though some maintenance issues have been noted.
The property is described as clean by several reviewers, with no major complaints about cleanliness. However, some minor issues such as a stale smell upon arrival and an unclean decking area slightly detract from the overall impression.
The location is praised for its quietness, views, and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests found the distance to Falmouth and the condition of the access road less satisfactory.
Guests find the beds comfortable and appreciate the spaciousness, but some furniture is reported as uncomfortable for taller individuals, and there are complaints about a lack of wardrobes and TVs in bedrooms.
While the property is equipped with necessary amenities, several maintenance issues such as broken fixtures, a problematic front door lock, and a need for updated garden furniture have been consistently mentioned.
There is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches provided by the hosts in the reviews, so it is not possible to assess this category.

A couple of things of note, no information openly provided about bins, dog walking area etc. we found a folder which looked like a photo album 3 days into our stay which was under a pile of leaflets in a corner under the WiFi hub. The decking photo is quite misleading in that it looks as though your dog can access the open field from decking which you cannot. I had to ask a neighbour how to access dog walking / toilet area. The decking / garden furniture could do with a refresh or clean up. The toaster blew out all the electricals with sockets, so could not use that for the week. The smoke alarms went off if you used the grill instead! in general I would recommend this property just some bits and pieces need addressing.

The outside area, decking, is reasonably private too with table, chairs and a bbq. We would certainly stay there again

The property was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay, however there are a few things that need sorting, to give it 5 stars. Mainly the outside area, the decking needs to be replaced/sorted as its starting to rot and when wet it is very slippery, the outside furniture has seen better days and again needs sorting. We didn't use the bbq so cannot comment on its use but it was starting to rust. Warning to anyone who is tall ie 6ft and over all the bedrooms have sloped ceilings you will bang your head if not careful.....
