Settled next to the owner’s home, The Forge enjoys a fantastic location on the edges of The Lizard Heritage Coast, as well as easy access to the beach and beautiful country views, making it ideal for couples seeking a relaxing, pet-friendly retreat. Upon arrival, you will find an off-road parking space, along with your own private garden where you can look forward to enjoying alfresco meals. Be welcomed into the light and airy open-plan living space, featuring bespoke lighting made from glass milk bottles, where you will find a fully-equipped kitchen for rustling up tasty dishes, a dining area for four, and an inviting sitting area with plush seating, crackling woodburning stove, and a 43” Smart TV, perfect for relaxing evening after a day of adventure. Mawnan Smith, Cornwall, is a picturesque settlement that is in an area of outstanding natural beauty close to the mouth of the Helford River. There is a chapel, a restaurant, a few businesses, and a classic tavern all located here. There are plenty of creekside and forest walks in the area, as well as subtropical gardens at Glendurgan and Trebah, making it ideal for hikers. In addition to fishing, kayaking and sailing are also popular activities on the Helford River. Falmouth, a nearby port town, is a popular resort thanks to its proximity to a number of attractions, including a bowling alley, a variety of eateries, and the National Maritime Museum....     The Forge is a fabulous cottage, so beautifully converted by the owners, very nicely decorated, fitted out and kept very clean, we had a fabulous week staying at "The Forge" and would highly recommend it

    For example “the upper part of the Extrator fan was very greasy and dusty.The Windows were dirty. The Bed although very big but has seen better days. I suffer with a very bad back and it definitely made my back even more painful and because of that, I lost a lot of sleep.

    She kept in contact to make sure we had all the cleaning,bedding changes etc that we wanted throughout. The cottage has been done to a high standard with good quality materials. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this property.
