The Granary is a 2-bedroom 16th century stone built former grain store which has been converted into a spacious, idyllic rural retreat.
It is situated up the hill from the River Fowey on the outskirts of the wonderful picturesque village of Bodinnick-by-Fowey, a tiny hamlet in a quieter location than its neighbouring villages. There is a farm shop and 13th Century 'Old Ferry Inn' both close by.
The cottage is within walking distance of the bustling yachting haven of Fowey, with it's narrow, winding streets lined with waterside restaurants and galleries. It is reachable on foot with just a short stroll down to the water's edge and a hop onto the ferry! There are many wonderful walks down to the river or along the coastal footpath from the doorstep.
ground floor-
Lounge: A comfortable sitting room with 40" flat screen TV, with Freeview, Wifi and CD player/radio. From the lounge you can access the lovely garden.
Kitchen/Diner:The farm style kitchen is fully equipped with a washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave and a dining table for 4 people.
1ST floor-
Bedroom 1: A double bedroom with bed side tables and wardrobe. En-suite with bath and shower over, w/c and wash basin.
Bedroom 2: A twin bedroom with bed side tables and chest of drawers.
Bathroom: A good sized family bathroom with walk in shower, w/c, heated towel rails and hand basin.
garden AND outside space- A lovely garden area at the back of the cottage with decking area. This is a perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass of wine after a day exploring. Table and chairs for 4 people.
parking- Private Parking available.
changeover DAY: Saturday- Arrival 4pm Departure 10am

power AND heating- Electricity and Heating included in the rental price. The cottage has full Gas central heating and instant hot water.

*As the Granary is situated on a working farm with some livestock, we ask for dogs to be kept on a lead at all times when using the outside space, and to be exercised off the farm.
