Guests appreciate the smart decor, tidy grounds, and quiet area of 1 Trevelyan, with its comfortable bed and strong Wi-Fi. The location is ideal for exploring the Lizard peninsula. Some concerns were raised about maintenance and cleanliness, but the property's potential shines through, with thoughtful touches like provided milk.
Reviews indicate issues with cleanliness, including a mouldy drawer, rubbish left outside, and a smoky smell in the bathroom. However, some guests found the property clean upon arrival.
The location is highly praised for being perfect for days out on the Lizard peninsula, with the holiday park itself being well-maintained.
The bed is noted as very comfortable, but concerns about space and inadequate heating have been mentioned, affecting the overall comfort level.
Facilities have mixed reviews, with positive remarks about Wi-Fi and TV services, but several complaints about appliance issues, such as a non-functional hob and the need for a coin meter for electricity.
The provision of milk was a thoughtful touch, but there is no guarantee of such gifts. The lack of clear instructions and outside seating near the chalet were noted as areas for improvement.

The village of Lizard is situated on the Lizard Peninsula, the most southerly point in mainland England. Lizard offers a village green, small shops, a pub and cafes, with Lizard Lighthouse being the oldest mainland light in Cornwall. Lizard Peninsula is surrounded on three sides by the sea, with the fourth by the still waters of the Helford River, and boasts many golden beaches, cliff tops and coastal villages. Just five miles away is the large village of Mullion, which is home to a selection of popular restaurants, shops and pubs, along with Mullion Meadows Chocolate Factory and coffee shop and Mullion Cove, a pretty working harbour. Within driving distance is the busy market town of Helston, which is most famous for its Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Nearby is the Poldark Mine, one of the best underground experiences in the south west, and further afield is the harbour town of Falmouth to the east and Land's End to the west.
