Sitting at the gateway to the beautiful Lizard Peninsula, discover the unspoilt attractions of Cadgwith and Kynance Cove. The wide sandy beach at Loe Bar, just over two miles away can also be reached by foot through the beautiful National Trust land of the Penrose Estate. 45 Gwarth an Drea makes the perfect base to explore the south Cornish coast.

Helston lies at the western gateway to the Lizard Peninsula, a large area of downland fringed by a beautiful and spectacular coastline. Helston is a pleasant busy market town famous for it's Flora Day Festival and the many stories and legends about the "Furry Dance" are told in the fascinating Helston Folk Museum. Nestled in a tranquil setting is the National Seal Sanctuary on the Helford River, where there is plenty of entertainment watching seals play and feed.
