The location is highly praised for its stunning views and proximity to the beach, though access is difficult, with a steep, uneven approach that may not suit all vehicles or individuals.

Coverack is a tiny fishing community on Cornwall's Lizard Peninsula, not far from Britain's most southern tip, Lizard Point. With its sheltered bay beach perfect for swimming, windsurfing, and kayaking, as well as its shops, pub, and restaurants, Coverack is a beautiful and peaceful place to escape the main tourist routes. St. Keverne is 4 miles from Poldowrian and offers a Post Office, as well as shops and two pubs. The Lizard Peninsula is home to some of the world's most unique and beautiful geology and flora, as well as numerous picturesque coves and beaches. The cliffs at Lizard Point, battered by the sea and the wind, offer spectacular views and great hiking along this section of the South West Coast Path. Helston, an inland market town, hosts the annual Flora Day Festival, and Gweek is home to the Cornish Seal Sanctuary. The fun of Flambards can be reached in under half an hour, and the Fleet Air Arm of the Royal Navy can be seen in action once a year at the Culdrose Airfield, which is less than ten miles away. We never tired of the view. I used to spend holidays as a teenager with relatives who lived on The Lizard so it was good to be back after all these years (27 years...) There was only two of us plus dog so having a 5 bed house to ourselves was an indulgence. Well furnished, clean, tidy and comfortable. Could do with more places to sit in rooms other than the living room ( chairs in the kitchen perhaps?) We loved our time here. Perfect time of year to get good weather and the beach to ourselves Others have mentioned the track leading to the property - that's the cost of staying off the beaten track I guess. Luckily we do have a 4 x 4 with good ground clearance. I wouldn't want to attempt it in much less. It didn't put us off and it's going to be hard to match Wild Acres for next years birthday week away.

The views stretching across the Lizard Coast were nothing short of stunning. It's just a short walk to the beach and has a great outdoor area for eating or relaxing in the hot tub. If the weather turns, we would have no problem relaxing inside either. If we had one gripe, it would be that the path leading in is a bit of a hassle. 90% of it is fine, albeit bumpy, but all the issues were on that final slope. Even the 4x4s had problems gaining traction while making their way back up on the loose gravel. (Our small hatchback managed to make it up, but with a slight push.) Not essential but would be nice: an outdoor shower to rinse off all the sand when you're making your way back from the beach or getting in and out of the hot tub. But that's certainly not a deal-breaker. All in all, this place was amazing for a group getaway, and despite the issue with the path in, we will certainly be returning next year.

However once you get past that the journey is worth it. The setting is absolutely fantastic and the property very clean and spacious and absolutely ideal for a family holiday. It really is a special place. The outside is just wonderful and we were lucky enough to have the weather to utilise it. Lovely place.
