The beds are so comfortable and there is so much room in this property it's absolutely perfect for a large family with two dogs to stay. On arrival it was extremely clean - and we arrived 30 minutes early without a problem. Such a shame we only found the orchard on the last day!!! The ONLY thing I would say is it would be nice to have some garden furniture you could move about in the garden to chase the sunshine in the evening!

We mainly used the house as a base whilst we explored the typically tourist parts of Cornwall. However, we would have easily felt at home had we wanted a restful break. Everything we could have needed was inside with so much space. The kids fell in love with the cows and spent most of their time talking to them over the wall getting to know their characters. Welcome book worth noting when you first arrive with useful info to help you get settled in around the house, we couldn't see how to work the heating though and have since contacted the owner. The wood burner made us feel cosy! Ensuite shower was lovely, super king bed was so comfy. Perfect rural retreat.

We needed a big space for 8 adults, a three year old and baby and this place is ideal. The large kitchen had everything we required and there was plenty of seating in the living room. The utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer came in useful. Our grand daughter loved seeing the farmer arriving on the tractor every morning, to bring hay to the cows that we could see right outside the living room windows. We walked down the country lanes to view Coombe Junction on the Liskeard - Looe railway and see what was left of the canal alongside it. Also walked to Liskeard via Moorswater, which takes about 40 minutes. Went to Liskeard swimming pool with the children and had two trips to The Eden Project. There was problem with the shower plumbing to start with, but the owner Alex kept us informed and it was soon resolved. Looking forward to coming back before too long.
