Head to Lostwithiel's railway station and catch the train to Bodmin, where a day packed with history awaits, with Bodmin Jail Attraction and Bodmin Keep taking centre stage; if nature is more your thing, Bodmin Moor is also nearby and offers ample walks, including those through Cardinham Woods, alpaca trekking, and birdwatching, with Colliford Lake being a lovely spot for this! Head towards the coast and spend the day in the port town of Fowey, home to the marvellous Fowey Aquarium, Readymoney Cove, the ruins of St Catherine's Castle and access to the South West Coastal Path.
