Laburnham is a totally private chalet with 60 mile uninterrupted sea views. This secluded one bedroom property sits on what’s known as “the front line” of Tregonhawke cliff, and as it’s set out on two levels there’s plenty of space to find a hideaway to sunbathe with a book or just relax.
With sweeping sea views that stretch as far as the eye can see, life at Laburnham is all about enjoying the outside space and taking in the location, and there’s plenty of comfortable seating and a selection of welcoming sun loungers scattered in strategic positions. Parasols are supplied for those times when the sun gets a little too much and there are always areas of shade to be found throughout the garden.
If the weather changes there’s a beautiful Jotul wood burner to snuggle up next to and read, and as the owners have thought of everything you’ll also find kindling, peat and kiln dried logs supplied. There’s also a flatscreen TV and DVD with a supply of films for those who would prefer a glass of wine and a tear jerker or a romance to watch and action movies for the guys.
The property has hurricane glass across the front for safety and wind deflection, and beyond you can settle down and watch dolphins at play in the water if you’re lucky enough to spot them! If the surf’s up sit back and watch the surfers enjoying the waves – and if you feel inspired to give it a go yourself you’ll find surf boards provided.
