Set in the historic and secluded parish of Morwenstow, this delightful hideaway - beautifully updated in 2024 - makes a warm and inviting hideaway for families and friends keen to discover a remote and breathtaking corner of North Cornwall. Within easy reach of the bustling resort of Bude, the three-level property has ample space for up to six guests, and features wooden floorboards, elegant tiling and impressive timber beams. Situated opposite a traditional 13th-century pub, this fresh, tastefully furnished retreat is a fantastic base for walkers, nature spotters and beach lovers discovering the region''s quaint villages, stunning coastline and magical countryside.
Entering this surprisingly spacious property, the middle floor features a welcoming porch and hallway leading through to a comfortable lounge with cosy seating and a Smart TV. There''s further seating and another Smart TV in the kitchen/diner which features a sociable central dining table and ample equipment so you can rustle up family feasts. When it''s time to retire for the night, you will have a choice of three bright, cosy bedrooms: on the lower ground floor, you will find a charming king-size room with an en-suite shower room and walk-in wardrobe, and on the first floor, there are two delightful king-size rooms with timber beams, alongside an invigorating family bathroom. Outside, the charming garden features a patio and decked area with outdoor furniture, providing a lovely spot for a morning coffee or a BBQ on a sunny summer''s day.
Morwenstow lies along the Hartland Cornwall Heritage Coast, offering wonderful tranquil walks, with local landmarks including Marsland Cliff, Hawker''s Hut and Lower Sharpnose Point, all within a couple of miles. There are some gorgeous beaches too, such as Duckpool (3 miles) and Welcombe Mouth (9 miles), or you can head south to the busier beaches and popular attractions of Bude (8 miles).
