Guests have praised Little Beach Cabin for its cosy atmosphere, beautiful decoration, and ideal location close to stunning beaches and coastal walks. The cabin is perfect for couples and their pets, offering a relaxing holiday experience with a private garden and a nearby pub serving good food. While some minor issues were mentioned, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many looking forward to returning.
The cabin was described as clean by a guest, indicating a high standard of cleanliness. However, one guest mentioned the lack of cleaning products, which suggests room for improvement in providing cleaning amenities.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to beautiful beaches, headland walks, and a seal colony. The nearby village and pub add to the charm, making it an ideal spot for a peaceful retreat.
Guests found the cabin to be warm, cosy, and comfortable, with a lovely sofa and bed. The private garden is also appreciated as a sun trap, contributing to the overall comfort of the stay.
The cabin is well-equipped, but there was a mention of a missing washing machine that was listed, and a lack of cleaning products. These points suggest that while the facilities are generally good, there are some discrepancies in what is advertised and what is available.
There are no specific mentions of gifts or special touches that would indicate thoughtfulness. Therefore, while guests have had a positive experience, there is no information to assess this category.
Little Beach Cabin is a quirky, wood-clad 'boutique-style' conversion situated in the lovely seaside town of Crantock, Cornwall. Set over two floors, boasting a romantic, mezzanine bedroom and ample private off road parking, while being close to the beach, this holiday home makes an ideal base for a couple or solo traveller to explore this beautiful coastal area. Inside, an open-plan living area provides a welcoming backdrop for your holiday, with a woodburning stove for the cooler evenings, while outside a private garden is fit for alfresco dining in the warmer months. Prepare your meals in the kitchen area, dine at the table, and settle in for the evening with a good book in front of the fire. When you’re ready to rest, freshen up in the shower room or climb the spiral staircase to the bedroom where you can savour an indulgent soak in the freestanding bath, before hopping into bed for some shut-eye. Little Beach Cabin is in a fantastic location, right on the Southwest Coastal Path where Crantock and Polly Joke beaches link; you can even take a scenic route via Pentire Point to each beach, making for a lovely afternoon of walking with your loved one. Reward yourself with an evening tipple at Bowgie Inn after exploring or enjoy a break from cooking with a meal at the nearby C-Bay Bar & Bistro. When you’re not busy eating out or sitting back and enjoying the views, be sure to explore some of the prettiest natural beauty nearby; wander near the Field of Poppies (seen from the house), dip in and out of the various coves and holes along the coast such as Vugga Cove and Piper’s Hole, or simply lap around in the beautiful waters, making the most of your superb placement. Alternatively, venture further along the coast where you can find a wealth of charming towns and villages to discover, including Newquay and Perranporth. For a memorable holiday to Cornwall, choose Little Beach Cabin.
Crantock is a small Cornish village, just a short walk from the beach, close to the popular resort of Newquay. If you want to escape the crowds, yet still be close to the action, this is the place to be. There's stunning countryside all around and lots of pretty villages to explore; however, it is the coast that dominates. Enjoy superb walks along the coastal path over dramatic cliff-tops, or magnificent surfing on beaches stretching from Watergate Bay in the North to Fistral beach in the centre of Newquay and on down the coast. There are a number of golf courses in the area, as well as National Trust properties, traditional pubs and outstanding restaurants. Newquay itself is a visitor's paradise with a wide variety of shops, pubs and restaurants, plus attractions such as the Sea Life Centre, Newquay Zoo and nearby Dairyland and Eden Project.

The bed and sofa are really comfortable and the log fire is great for those cosy nights in. There were a couple of things that sadly let it down, when I booked in April the property was listed as having a washing machine which I can since see another reviewer has mentioned, I specifically checked this as staying for ten nights felt one was needed, when we arrived the welcome pack said the washing machine and dryer could be found in the utility room. We couldnât find this utility room at all and upon checking with property management were informed there wasnât one. This was disappointing as we had packed lightly thinking we could wash our clothes half way through the stay. The other issue which did impact our stay was the blind to the French doors, it is not fitted correctly and was not working and it fell down on our first night. This really impacted our sleep as the light was so bright in the mornings to the bedroom. Property management did come out to put in a temporary fix however it took them a few days to arrive so our first five mornings were disturbed, not ideal as we had really wanted to use this time to rest well and not be up at 6.30am for half of the holiday. Other than those issues this was a really lovely holiday and crantock is well worth the visit for peace and tranquility!

The location was lovely, walks along the coastal path had some stunning views, Crantock village was a short walk away with a nice beach and 2 good pubs. We would definitely recommend this place to others.

We had often looked for a quirky romantic place to stay, and Little Beach Cabin has been that perfect place. It was ideally situated to enjoy the huge beach at Crantock, as well as the much quieter Polly Joke. We had unknowingly chosen a week where the tides were perfect to enjoy both beaches at low tide. Our collie thoroughly enjoyed her extended walks and play times, she has returned shattered but happy. We are looking forward to returning for another break in the not too distant future.
