Guests say

Seawynds in Crantock, Cornwall, is highly praised for its comfort, well-equipped facilities, and excellent location close to the beach and local amenities. Guests appreciate the property's cleanliness, the secure garden for dogs, and the thoughtful touches such as welcome gifts. While some minor suggestions for improvements are noted, the overall sentiment is overwhelmingly positive, with many guests planning to return.

Guests consistently mention that the property is very clean, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming stay. One mention of a pet odour suggests room for improvement, but overall, the cleanliness is rated highly.

The location is frequently highlighted as fantastic, with easy access to the beach, village centre, and local pubs. Its proximity to coastal paths and tourist attractions adds to its appeal.

Comfort is a strong point for Seawynds, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the living spaces cosy. The presence of a woodburner and a spacious kitchen adds to the overall comfort. However, a few guests noted issues with a double bed and sofa, slightly lowering the score.

The property is well-equipped with a kitchen, conservatory, and bathroom facilities that guests find impressive. Some guests suggested additional items and improvements, indicating that while the facilities are very good, there is some room for enhancement.

Guests frequently express gratitude for the thoughtful welcome gifts and dog-friendly amenities. It is important to note that such gifts, while appreciated, are a courtesy and not guaranteed with every stay.

It was exactly as described on the website. Beds were very comfortable and everywhere was very clean. We didn’t have any pets, but chose this cottage regardless of it being pet friendly. Unfortunately the smell of dog was very strong as soon as we walked through the front door. Not sure how you can help this but it was a shame. We bought air freshener which we had to keep spaying throughout the week to try and mask the doggy smell. Kitchen could have done with some more cooking utensils but other than that it was lovely. Bathroom was beautiful. Lovely shower with separate bath. Plenty of room. Location was fab, walking distance to the beach, pub and shop. Crantock beach is a must. Absolutely beautiful.

Although some garden furniture would have been ideal. Thank you for the welcome gifts and the added touches for dogs. We have fallen in love with Crantock and look forward to visiting again next year.
