Guests say

Guests have had delightful stays at 2 Chapel Place, praising its cleanliness, comfort, and well-equipped nature. The cottage's location in the charming village of Mousehole is appreciated for its tranquility and proximity to local amenities. The presence of a parking space is frequently highlighted as a valuable addition. While some minor maintenance issues are noted, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

The cottage receives high marks for cleanliness, with multiple reviews mentioning it being clean and tidy. Only one comment suggests a need for cleaning in a specific area, indicating overall excellent standards.

The location is consistently praised for its beauty and convenience, with guests enjoying the proximity to local attractions and the quiet, picturesque setting. The presence of a parking space further enhances the location's appeal.

Comfort is well-regarded, with guests finding the beds comfy and the cottage warm. One guest's preference for a softer mattress and a comment about the en-suite size for taller individuals slightly affect the score.

Facilities are generally praised for catering to every need, being well-equipped, and including a sunny garden. However, some minor maintenance issues, such as cosmetic damages and a non-functional extractor fan, lead to a slightly lower score.

The provision of tea, coffee, milk, and an Easter egg in one instance reflects a thoughtful touch. While these gifts are warmly received, it is politely noted that such offerings are not guaranteed with every stay.

We love everything about this cottage and such a bonus to have a parking space. We will be back next year!

  • Joanne

We haven’t been for a few years, still love the space and parking but feel the cottage is in need of some TLC. The window frame in the main bedroom, the one with the en-suite, needs a good clean. The garden is a big plus and location is perfect. Would highly recommend a family to stay here.

Parking space was a bonus! Nicely presented and we found everything we needed easily. Lashings of hot water. The only thing to pass on to the owners was that the extractor fan/light above induction hob didn't work and needs fixing.
