About this property

Ideally positioned just 1/2 a mile from the centre of St Just village, with pubs, eateries, art galleries and shops to choose from. Located 0.8 miles from the property, Cape Cornwall has a beautiful cove where locals go for a refreshing dip, it is a stunning headland reaching out into the Atlantic Ocean. Known for its dramatic cliffs and panoramic views, it offers excellent hiking along the South West Coast Path, in this area of outstanding natural beauty. Also from the property, is a lovely cliff path walk to the beautiful secluded Cot Valley beach (0.75 miles). Nearby, explore St Just, a historic and atmospheric Cornish town situated at the most western end of Great Britain.  The area is perfect for bird watching, dark sky watching, photography, and immersing in Cornwall’s rich history and natural beauty.  Within easy reach is the Minack Theatre at Lamorna which has an outdoor theatre built in to the cliffs. There is an open top bus from St Just that circumnavigates West Penwith. Catch it to St Ives along one of the most beautiful clifftop roads in the country, and have lunch overlooking the picture perfect harbour, or drop off at Penzance and wander over to St Michaels Mount at low tide.

West Penwith is also home to many ancient sites, some 3000 BC. Within 5 miles there are Men an Tol, Lanyon Quoit, Tregeseal stone circle, and the Merry Maidens stone circle. And just a short walk from Peace and Plenty on the cliffs there is Bollowall Barrow, a unique bronze age site.

We have just spent 6 nights in this delightful cottage just a short walk away from Cape Cornwall. The cottage was very clean and tidy when we arrived and the host had left a welcoming package of milk, bread, butter and Cornish biscuits. Upstairs consisted of 2 doubles and a single bedroom and a bathroom consisting of a shower, sink and toilet. The view from the front was towards Cape Cornwall, perfect for a beautiful sunset. Downstairs was a well equipped kitchen diner and living room area containing everything we needed for the stay. We would highly recommend this property which lives up to its name - Peace and Plenty. A lovely cottage with garden front and back for morning and evening sun. The cottage is located down a very narrow lane, and parking for two cars is tight; however, there was space at the end of the lane for a second car. St Just is larger than you would expect from looking at a map, with several cafes and pubs. Cottage well equipped with easy to use wood burner a nice extra for when it's a bit nippy.
