Me and my family have loved every second of it and we are already looking at coming back! Every day we have explored a different beach and the weather has been glorious, we have all got sunburnt! I would recommend Pedn Vounder beach, it is absolutely breath taking, however, make sure you wear your trainers! For food, we recommend The Old Success, we went for my 50th meal it did not disappoint! Thank you again! The hampers for both our doggies and humans are a lovely touch and we are very grateful for everything. We loo forward to coming back and thank you again for having us <3

A pair of oven gloves would be useful. On the second day of our stay I put a load of washing into the machine. The house manual had instructions for how to erect the clothes airer - I hunted high and low and could not find it. There was no washing line outside to hang the clothes on either. I phoned Sykes and asked if they could contact the housekeeper to find out where it could be found. I was told this would be dealt with on the Monday since it was a weekend. I phoned again on Monday and was told they would phone the housekeeper and that they would bring out an airer that day. It never turned up. I phoned again on Tuesday - and received a call to say the airer was in the downstairs cloakroom - which is was not. So I was told the housekeep would bring one out - it never turned up. At this point I just gave up. I had to use the tumble dryer to dry my several loads of wet washing during the week, which I was loathed to do, and would incur increased electricity costs. Some of my washing could not be tumble dried so I had to hang it on hangers all around the house. All around not a very satisfactory service from Sykes, which considering I had paid just under £2500 for a week, was very disappointing.

We had a fantastic time, highly recommend. Only tiny thing to mention is the grill pan needs replacing and the baking trays. Will definitely be booking again.
