Throughout the 1930s, author Winston Graham made his home in the picturesque Cornish coastal town of Perranporth, which serves as the inspiration for his Poldark novels. Traditional pubs and stores abound in Perranporth, and the beach, which is lifeguarded in the summer and is backed by rugged rocks and a beautiful coastal path, is a classic bucket-and-spade beach. Abandoned pump structures, mine shafts, and workers' cottages are all remnants of the town's rich history as a source of quality tin. For more insight into this region's interesting past, check out the Blue Hills Museum and the Perranzabuloe Folk Museum. Much further out, you'll find National Trust-owned stretches of sand at Crantock and Holywell Bay, as well as stunning coastal walks near St. Agnes. A fantastic holiday home in Cornwall, along with a wide variety of attractions.

When we got there, it turned out that everything was included in the price and nothing was included in the price of the stay. This information should have been clearly stated in the description. If it had been, we would never have chosen this property. In addition, we found the property in a poor condition, dirty and smelly. For this price you can rent a beautiful caravan in Haven or another holiday park with full access to the pools and still have £200 in your pocket. Don't be fooled like we were, and Sykes washed his hands of it. We are completely disappointed because we thought we were good customers of Sykes. Oh well, never again! I do not recommend!

Perfect amenities on site and a short but steep walk to the beach so be wary! Great host left a few goodies to get going which for us was great as we arrived pretty late in the evening and just wanted to chill then discovering the shop was shut. Only let down for me a very light sleeper was the seagulls nesting on the roof being a bit noisy!

Will definitely book again, although will book for 2 weeks next time as 1 week was too short. Will be recommending this accommodation to friends/family who have said they want to go to Cornwall.
