Walkers will enjoy the stroll along to Cornwall’s largest freshwater lake of Loe pool and 3 miles away in Helston, children can have fun on the boating lake or a visit to Flambards Theme Park and Victorian Village or the town’s museum.Further afield are some fabulous beaches namely, Rinsey, Praa Sands and Church Cove and Marazion is the gateway to the infamous St Michael's Mount which can be walked across when the tide is right.

Porthleven is one of south west Cornwall’s hidden coastal gems, located near Helston famous for its annual Flora Dance Festival. Situated between Lizard Point and Land’s End, Porthleven retains the feel of a traditional Cornish fishing village, enjoying uninterrupted views of the Atlantic Ocean and the beautiful Cornish coastline.
