Guests say

Sea View in St. Austell is a well-regarded apartment with many guests praising its comfort, modern amenities, and convenient location opposite a Tesco Extra. The property is celebrated for its high standard of decoration, well-equipped kitchen, and added touches like fresh flowers. While some maintenance issues were noted, the overall sentiment is positive, with guests keen to return.

Most guests found Sea View clean and well maintained, though one review mentioned areas needing dusting and an out-of-date fire extinguisher service, suggesting minor oversights rather than systemic issues.

The location is highly praised for its proximity to local amenities, such as a Tesco Extra, and public transport options, making it an ideal base for exploring local attractions.

Guests have described the apartment as comfortable, with a nice bed and linen, and a relaxing retreat. One review mentioned a challenging bath shower for older guests, but overall comfort is rated highly.

Facilities are generally well-received, with a fully equipped kitchen and pleasant outdoor area. However, points are deducted for reported issues with the jacuzzi, TV setup, and a coffee machine that leaked.

The owner's thoughtfulness is evident in touches like fresh flowers and a welcome note. While these gestures are appreciated, it is noted that such personal touches may vary and are not guaranteed.

Decorated and equipped to a high standard. Very comfortable and in a excellent position for many of Cornwall's best attractions. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Not able to fill bath except by using the shower head, tv sky option not set up. Called the owner who eventually cleared the bath problem and set up the sky connection. In addition demonstrated use of the coffee making machine which when we made a coffee leaked water over the worktop so was not usable. In addition locking the front door was extremely difficult as interlocking did not easily complete to allow key to lock. Will not be using this property again.
