The Crows Nest in St. Austell, Cornwall, garners praise for its cleanliness, modern amenities, and prime location in Mevagissey. Guests appreciate the comfortable furnishings, the convenience of a parking space, and the thoughtful touches like wine and chocolate. While some guests mention minor issues with maintenance and noise, the overall sentiment is highly positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Guests consistently note the apartment's cleanliness, with several reviews highlighting its spotless condition. A few isolated comments about specific cleaning oversights slightly affect the score, but the general consensus is one of a well-maintained property.
The central location is frequently praised for its convenience and proximity to local attractions. However, a few guests mention noise from nearby pub activity and early morning deliveries, which slightly impacts the overall satisfaction with the location.
The apartment's comfort is well-regarded, with guests mentioning comfortable beds and furnishings. Some suggestions for lighter bedding during warmer months and additional hanging space for coats are noted, but these do not significantly detract from the overall comfort experienced by guests.
Facilities are generally seen as modern and well-equipped. Guests appreciate the parking space and the well-furnished kitchen. Criticisms include a lack of basic supplies like dishwasher tablets and a clothes airer, leading to a slightly lower score.
The thoughtful gestures of wine and chocolate are well-received, although there are inconsistencies with the provision of a welcome pack. It should be noted that while such gifts are appreciated, they are not guaranteed and may vary.

Shop and very good pubs minutes away. The bonus with this apartment is that it has its own car parking place.

The apartment was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated, with every facility you could want. Although we didn't use them, as the position of the apartment meant that we were so central to all the town offered and we were on Holiday after all. Truan was really helpful during our stay with a few queries, thank him for that. The weather was fantastic, the apartment was great. One drawback was the noise early mornings from the brewery deliveries, but we could forgive that for the ideal position and treasured parking space. Great holiday
Kathleen
