Ideally located for exploring the beautiful South coast of Cornwall, this immaculate barn conversion is situated on the rural edge of the old market town of St Austell, just a short walk from the town centre. Beautifully furnished and set in perfectly manicured grounds the barn exudes character and style. The bright living room/diner offers superb views out over the surrounding countryside and the well equipped kitchen has everything you'll need. A ground floor king size bedroom with ensuite bathroom is the perfect spot to retire to at the end of the day. On the first floor are two further bedrooms set in the eaves (some low head heights), one with double bed and one and a huge twin bedded room. They share a family bathroom. At the front of the cottage is a sunny patio with table, chairs and BBQ and you are welcome to share the friendly owners lawn. Just a short stroll from the barn is St Austell town centre, offering a multi-screen cinema and a host of bars and restaurants offering something for everyone. When it comes to a day out, you really are spoilt for choice with the unmissable Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, the old character village and working port of Charlestown (of Poldark fame) as well as the traditional fishing village of Mevagissey all within a short drive and well worth a visit. Not to mention the many small coves and golden sandy beaches. A superb and welcoming home from home in an ideal touring location to be enjoyed all-year-round.
The old market town of St. Austell lies just a few miles from the south coast, and is famous for its China Clay mining history. Today, home to numerous beaches and sub tropical gardens, it is a popular place for tourists, and families, with plenty to see and do. Get back to nature with the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project, perfect for a family day out, or discover the delights of Caerhays Castle and Garden, flourishing in the maritime climate.
