Heading upstairs, the first floor features a welcoming lounge making an ideal space for everyone to settle back, watch a movie or curl up with a good book. When it’s time to eat, the sleek, stylishly equipped kitchen/diner is a perfect spot for preparing and sharing your favourite family dishes. Patio doors lead out onto a private glass-fronted balcony with plenty of outdoor furniture so you can sit out and enjoy the woodland surroundings. Downstairs, the ground floor has two charming bedrooms: a pretty double and a lovely super-king-size. The lodge also provides an invigorating wet room and a refreshing en-suite bathroom. Outside, there’s a shared patio area with furniture and BBQs, or you can take a dip in the bubbling private hot tub.

Onsite facilities include a swimming pool, steam room, sauna, tennis court and gym. The site lies on the edge of the bustling town of St Austell which is home to Pinetum Gardens, the Shipwreck Treasure Museum, Tregrehan Garden and Porthpean Beach, with Pentewan Beach along the coast (3 miles). Local attractions include The Lost Gardens of Heligan, the Wheal Martyn Clay Works and the famous Eden Project, all within 6 miles.
