Sebright is a well-received holiday cottage in Cornwall, praised for its peaceful location, stunning sea views, and comfortable bed. Guests appreciate the enclosed garden for pets, the wood-fired hot tub, and the cosy atmosphere. While some guests encountered issues with amenities and maintenance, the positive aspects such as the location near local attractions and the thoughtful touches like scones on arrival contribute to its charm.
The majority of guests found Sebright to be clean and well-kept, with only a few isolated comments about the presence of small animals outside. The property's cleanliness contributes positively to the overall experience.
The location is highly praised for its stunning sea views, proximity to local attractions like the Eden Project, and the peacefulness it offers. The convenience of nearby shops and restaurants adds to the appeal.
Guests consistently mention the comfortable bed and the cosy feel of the property. However, some guests noted the sofa was not as comfortable, slightly affecting the overall comfort score.
Facilities such as the hot tub and enclosed garden are appreciated, but some guests reported issues with heating and a lack of certain kitchen amenities. Maintenance concerns, such as the need for an outside tap and better instructions for the hot tub, are noted.
Several guests were delighted by the thoughtful gestures like scones, jam, and cream on arrival. However, as not all reviews mention such gifts and there is no guarantee of their provision, the score reflects this uncertainty.

Better instructions needed on eg heating, oven, fire and hot tub. Suggest ironmongery for log burner. The bed was great, so comfy and clever storage space for clothes. Maybe a few more hooks to hang items Not a complaint but a microwave and hair dryer would be an asset .

Simple things like disposable dishcloths, tea towels and a mop not provided. Struggled to get items out of the oven 1st night as no tea towel or oven glove provided. Contacted Sykes on our 2nd day and I am still waiting for someone to get back to me. Wood fired hot tub provided with one bag of logs and a few fire lighters. No kindling so impossible to get the fire started. You cannot place logs onto firelighters. On our last day we were advised by the owner that there was to be an end of school party on site that evening and that he had neglected to tell us this when we arrived and apologised in advance for any noise or issues the party caused. We did not want to be around for this so decided to leave that day which meant we only had six nights which spoilt our last Positives is that it is a nice location and is near to local attractions and shops, the shower works well and the bed is comfortable but we would not stay here again.
