Guests say

Highlands is a well-maintained and immaculate cottage in Cornwall, praised for its quiet, sunny location and accessibility. Guests have enjoyed the secure garden, the thoughtful welcome pack, and the property's suitability for families and dog owners. While some minor issues with cleanliness and maintenance were noted, the swift response to concerns and the property's overall comfort and equipment have been appreciated.

Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property to be incredibly clean and welcoming, while others noted issues with bathroom cleanliness and general upkeep. The presence of both positive and negative comments leads to a score above average.

The location is consistently praised for being quiet, sunny, and an ideal base for exploring North Cornwall. Its proximity to green fields and local attractions contributes to a high score.

The majority of guests found the property comfortable, highlighting the comfy beds and the cosy atmosphere. The bungalow's one-level layout was particularly appreciated for accessibility. A slight deduction is made for the desire to control heating settings.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the property being well-equipped and issues being dealt with swiftly. However, some guests mentioned a need for additional saucepans and clearer instructions for appliances, as well as minor maintenance concerns.

Guests have mentioned a welcome pack, which indicates thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed and not all reviews mention them, the score reflects a positive but not universal experience.

The garden is pretty. I would have liked to be able to control the heating but it didn't seem possible to override the settings. It would have been helpful to have had some information available about the various appliances in the property, as well as the information about the general area.
