Guests say

Redwood Lodge in Retallack is highly praised for its cleanliness, spaciousness, and privacy. Guests appreciate the on-site facilities, including a hot tub, and the property's proximity to local attractions. The lodge is well-equipped, and the owner's personal touches, such as providing tea and coffee, are well-received. While there is a mention of a late check-in and a suggestion for a fresh coat of paint, the overall experience is very positive, with guests keen to return.

The property is consistently described as very clean, with one review specifically noting it was 'thoroughly clean for our arrival'. This suggests a high standard of cleanliness is maintained.

The location is frequently mentioned as ideal for exploring Cornwall and the lodge is noted for its quiet setting. The proximity to attractions and the resort's offerings contribute to a high score.

Comfort is highlighted with the property being described as 'extremely homie and comfortable'. The presence of a hot tub and the spaciousness of the lodge contribute to the comfort level.

Facilities are generally praised, especially with the mention of a hot tub. However, the lack of a dryer and a late check-in due to cleaning suggest some room for improvement in facilities and maintenance.

While the provision of tea, coffee, and biscuits indicates thoughtfulness, there is not enough information to determine if such gestures are consistent or guaranteed. Therefore, a score cannot be provided.

We enjoyed our stay, but could not get into our lodge until 5.00p.m. as the cleaners were still in the lodge. On arrival at 3.00p.m. I had to take my disabled husband to the cafe, to use the comfort facilities and hang around there for 2 hours before we could unload our luggage.. A coat, of paint would freshen the lodge, but it was the end of the season.
