This superb apartment in St. Issey, a charming village with friendly locals and a serene countryside, offers a memorable holiday experience.

Peace and solitude await from this first-floor apartment in a quaint Cornish village – the vital ingredients for a restful coastal stay. Finished to an exceptionally high standard, this two-bed property offers a fantastic home-from-home for four guests. It’s a marvellous choice for families, complete with nearby attractions that younger guests will adore, plenty of pristine beaches just a drive away and a stand-out selection of walking routes for getting to know this coast and countryside area. It’s also dog friendly, inviting two four-pawed pals to stay and explore by your side.

You’ll first notice a small patio area with your own picnic bench, a designated outdoor spot that’s shared with neighbouring properties. From here, step inside and take the flight of stairs up to the first floor to reach the open-plan living space. With its cushy sofas, Sonos sound system and Smart TV, the lounge invites you to kick back and relax as evening falls. If you chose to dine in, the kitchen is on-hand for mealtime prep and the dining table accommodates your whole party. Wander down the hallway to find two bedrooms, a double and a twin, alongside a modern shower room with a sumptuous rainfall shower. For a thoughtful added touch, each bedroom is equipped with its own Smart TV.

Whilst cooking at home is always an option, this area is much-loved by foodies and offers an abundance of restaurants for trying incredible local fare. Visit a well-known local gastro pub in St Merryn (5 miles) or experience the seafood restaurants at Padstow (3 miles). Padstow itself is a hive of activity with a harbour offering marvellous sea safari boat trips and the fascinating National Lobster Hatchery. For a scenic route into Padstow, venture towards the River Camel (2 miles) and follow the Camel Trail into town.
