Perched above stunning Carbis Bay beach, 3 Sandy Lane is a luxury, ground floor apartment within a short walking distance of this popular family friendly beach.

Drop your suitcases, grab the surfboards and head down to the azure blue seas and white sands of Carbis Bay. Set between Gwithian Sands and St Ives this coastline is renowned for its clear colours, depicted by numerous artists including John Miller who captured the bright colours in his paintings.

There are restaurants, a Spa and beach bars in this resort; swimming is safe and the sand perfect for sandcastles. Just down from 3 Sandy lane is a small railway along which a little train trundles to and from the centre of St Ives. This is probably the most scenic, albeit brief, train journey in Britain.

The apartment itself is gorgeous, modern and luxurious; all that you could wish for to make your Cornish holiday memorable. Open-plan living with comfortable furnishings and luxury linens just give it that extra special touch. Enjoy alfresco meals on the balcony with friends and family.

The two double bedrooms are comfortable and warm, each with its own television and completed with white cotton bedding and quality duvets. The modern bathroom with its double-ended bath, is the perfect space to relax after a day walking the coastal path or an afternoon on the beach.

Nothing has been overlooked, from underfloor central heating, a Blue Ray player in the sitting-room, Netflix on each TV and a Nespresso machine to make the morning coffee.

Enjoy a leisurely walk along the coastal path, a game of golf on the nearby Links course or just a day on the beach, returning to this luxurious apartment at the end of the day.

    We have just stayed at 3, Sandy Lane for 7-nights and it has been simply wonderful.We are a family of 4 with two children aged 7 and 5 who loved their first ever UK holiday!The apartment is fairly spacious, modern, clean and finished to a high standard - Dualit kettle and toaster, Joseph Joseph utensils, John Lewis crockery are simple examples of where luxury and attention to detail have been observed.The decor is light, bright and feels like a ‘home from home’.The beautiful bi-fold doors open onto a large terrace area that stretches around the side of the apartment where two rattan sun beds can be found…and are perfectly located to catch those Cornish rays of sunshine in the event the sun makes an appearance - which fortunately it did for us!The beds are comfortable and beautifully made up - just be mindful they are double beds so if you have a super king sized bed at home it takes some adjusting to!The apartment itself is perfectly located to explore all Cornwall has to offer - we took trips out to the Minack Theatre, Lands End and Hayle beach just to name a few and none took too long to get to.Carbis Bay train station is about a 3-minute walk away and ideal to jump on to travel to the nearby town of St Ives - in fact, I’d suggest it is a must as the views are spectacular and parking in St Ives is hellish!Carbis Bay beach takes just 5-10 minutes to walk to - even with two kids and body boards in tow -though the walk back is a good 10-15 given it’s uphill!I honestly, can’t recommend 3, Sandy Lane enough as the perfect place to stay in the event you’re visiting north Cornwall. We’ll certainly be looking to return next year and hope the exceptional standards set have been maintained.Thanks you to the owners and Cornwall Hideaways for the perfect staycation.
