Guests have praised the Gwinear apartment for its superb location, stunning views, and thoughtful touches such as arrival gifts. While some cleanliness issues and maintenance concerns were noted, the property's comfort and the convenience of its location near the beach and train station were consistently appreciated. The apartment's well-equipped nature and the provision of welcome gifts contributed to many enjoyable stays.
The apartment received mixed feedback on cleanliness. Several guests found it spotless, while others reported issues such as dirty floors, windows, and a few instances of poor cleaning upon arrival. The majority, however, were satisfied with the cleanliness.
The location is highly praised for its proximity to Carbis Bay Beach, the train station, and the ease of exploring Cornwall. The scenic views and convenience are frequently mentioned, although some guests noted disruption from nearby construction.
Most guests found the apartment comfortable, with special mentions of cosy bedrooms and comfortable seating. However, a few guests suggested improvements such as blackout curtains and mentioned issues with noise from other residents.
Facilities are generally well-regarded, with the apartment being well-equipped and offering good quality amenities. Some guests, however, reported maintenance issues such as stiff locks, cracked tiles, and non-smart TVs in bedrooms.
Guests frequently appreciated the thoughtful arrival gifts, including chilled apple juice and chocolates. While these gestures added to the experience, it is noted that such gifts are a kind bonus and not a guaranteed amenity.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and comfortably furnished. The beds are comfortable with blackout blinds in both bedrooms. The kitchen had everything we needed. There was even a little bit of milk, dishwasher tablets, laundry pods and toilet paper on arrival. The only suggestion would be to leave a little soap in the bathrooms and to have an empty cupboard in the kitchen to store groceries. We have stayed at a few of the other apartments in these buildings, and this was by far the most comfortable.

Bed very comfortable. Needs some TLC.Cleaning was poor. En-suite shower very small, difficult to bend down. Water didn't drain away and fearful water would run over rim of tray. Sealant and grouting around bottom of shower was filthy.Balcony mucky with weeds growing and uncomfortable chairs.Cushions on settee and armchairs were filled with feathers, miserable for people with allergies.Underneath of armchair seat pads dirty, didn't appear to have ever been cleaned. Apartment not up to 4 star standard. Not to standard of CARBIS BAY HOLIDAYS when we have visited previously.
