Set overlooking the stunning azure waters of Carbis Bay Beach you understand why the owners of this gorgeous apartment named it after their memories of Halfway Tree in Jamaica. Sleeping four with Sea views from the kitchen, master bedroom and living area, Halfway Tree is ideal for a small family or couple. Open out the French doors onto your seaward facing balcony and allow the fresh sea air to flow in to the bright and airy living space. Relax on one of the two comfortable tan leather sofas, which are perfectly positioned for enjoying the sea views or entertainment including Sky Sports & Variety package. The dining area is located within the spacious living area with an open archway into the rear kitchen, so all areas still enjoy the wonderful sea views. An oak table with six matching chairs are placed next to the archway so you can socialise with the chef. The contemporary hi spec rear kitchen still benefits from the magnificent Cornish vista through the feature archway. The spacious sea view, master en-suite bedroom boasts amazing panoramic sea views via the double French doors which open to a Juliette balcony. You will also find a separate patio door which opens out onto the main balcony. A comfortable king size bed is beautifully dressed to lie back and listen to the sound of the waves. The second twin bedroom is located to the rear, this quiet room ensures a peaceful night’s sleep. The seaward facing balcony is accessed from both the living area and master bedroom with views across St Ives Bay, from St Ives to Godrevy Lighthouse. A table and four chairs are provided for guests to dine al fresco or enjoy drinks watching the sun set over St Ives. Stroll to the beach or head towards the coastal path to St Ives through the pretty communal gardens or jump on the nearby train. ! Decor and furnishings in keeping with beachside theme but a bit tired and dated. Kitchen and bathrooms clean but thick dust in places and in need of a thorough deep clean. Toilet in shower room had been used and not flushed on our arrival which was very off putting. Overall the location and views were brilliant and we enjoyed our stay.

No washing up liquid provided-had to go out and buy some. Main bed mattress was very hard-appreciate this is personal preference but for someone who is used to firm mattresses this was still uncomfortable. The towel rails did not work independently of the heating-despite claiming this in the apartment folder and there was no way of operating the heating (despite the folder claiming there were heating controls in the bedrooms and lounge-there aren`t!) Presume these have been removed to stop people using the heating excessively & have the fuses been removed from the towel rails to stop people using these too as the switch on the wall did nothing. Just feels a bit mean spirited-never been to an apartment where have been unable to turn on the heating if needed before. The bedroom french door needs replacing-high winds while we stayed and the wind whistled through the door and the room was freezing so that we couldn`t sleep & had to move bedrooms in the middle of the night. Loved the location and it was quiet and kitchen was well equipped and apartment spacious-but having stayed at these apartments previously-this one does not live up to those because of the above issues.

Firstly would like to say that we loved our 2nd stay at this property The lower markings are for the amount of dust found in the bedroom and lounge not sure if the cleaning company has changed but it was definitely noticeable from our previous 2023 stay Also a previous review mentioned that the bathroom hook was on the floor and it was still there we we arrived I think the table mats and coasters should be replaced as they look ancient and stick to the surfaces We are NOT fussy people but could not help commenting on the above
