Step out onto the decked terrace of this luxury ground floor apartment and you’ll see why its name was inspired by the precious gemstone known for its regal blue, Lapis. The colour of the sea is not the only thing to take your breath away, the views from Lapis set above Carbis Bay Beach stretch right across to St Ives and out to Godrevy Lighthouse. Sleeping four its ideal for a small family or couple. Finished in the highest quality, Karndean Limestone style flooring, the living area benefits from this fabulous Cornish vista. Open the double French doors from the sitting area or master bedroom and breath in the fresh air, natural light and sound of the ocean. Relax into one of the finest quality three and two-seater designer sofas, you may even be lucky enough to see seals and dolphins at play in the bay or enjoy the entertainment on offer including a full Sky HD package of Kids and Sport. Perfectly positioned within the open plan living area for enjoying the beautiful sea views is a dining area, to the rear. A stylish glass dining table with contemporary leather seating for four is provided. A contemporary style kitchen finished in high gloss cream with stunning Karndean Slate style flooring is located at the rear of the property. The master sea view en-suite bedroom has spectacular views across the bay, open up the French doors and enjoy breakfast on the terrace watching the ocean. Relax on the sumptuous king size bed listening to the sound of the waves crashing on the shore below. The second bedroom has two single beds and is located to the rear of the property ensuring a peaceful night’s sleep. Wine and dine alfresco on the decking area which stretches across the whole of the front of the luxury apartment and accessed from the sitting area and master bedroom. A Rattan Cube dining set for four is provided. The beach is just a few sandy steps through the communal garden and from here you can access the coastal path to St Ives. A nearby scenic railway stops at St ives and connects to the rest of this beautiful county. Lapis is truly a gem glistening on the Cornish coast, once found you’ll never want to let it go.
Enjoying the sights and delights of the north west Cornish coast is the charming village of Carbis Bay. A coastal resort, the village is best known for its sprawling, white sands, access to a watersports centre and the luxurious, C Bay Spa. St Ives, with its lively art scene, and Hayle with its fantastic range of activities, including the family-friendly Paradise JungleBarn. The South West Coast Path also isn't far and offers walkers scenic walks along rugged cliffs, past idyllic coves and through picture-postcard settlements.

It was clean, very comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally well presented. It was stocked with all the appliances you could need, plenty of pots and pans and crockery. Weâve been to Carbis Bay many times and would definitely choose to stay at Lapis again. We had a fantastic week as always.

The Little touches such as blankets for sitting outdoors which came in very handy as we sat out on a lovely evening watching the Perseid Meteor shower. Games and books in case the weather wasn't great and all the cooking utensils and gadgets you need in a good kitchen. Thank you for the lovely welcome package of tea, chocolate, biscuits and the soap and moisturiser etc it was very much appreciated. We absolutely loved our stay here at Lapis, enjoyed the lovely artwork on the walls but most of all soaking up a view we could never tire of and the proximity to the beach was great. Very sad to leave. We will definitely be back!

There is everything you need for a self catering holiday. This was our second stay in two months at the Lapis Apartment. We would highly recommend this apartment and look forward to our next visit in 2024.
