The apartment's cleanliness and thoughtful touches, such as welcome gifts, have been appreciated, although there are isolated mentions of maintenance issues. The stunning terrace and proximity to local attractions have contributed to many memorable stays.
Most guests found Sea Glass to be spotless upon arrival, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, a few guests encountered issues with cleanliness, such as dust and litter, which slightly impacts the overall high standard noted in the majority of reviews.

The facilities at Sea Glass, including the well-equipped kitchen and entertainment options, are generally well-received. However, there are comments about maintenance issues such as the hoover and patio furniture, which suggest room for improvement.
While many guests have expressed gratitude for the thoughtful touches like chocolates, biscuits, and high-quality toiletries, there is not enough information to guarantee such gifts for future guests. Carbis Bay, a popular tourist destination close to St. Ives, is renowned for its pristine white sand beach. The beach, with its turquoise seas and sheltered settings, is ideal for a traditional day at the sea. If lounging in the sun isn't your style, you can always rent a kayak or stand-up paddleboard (SUP) from the Ocean Sports Centre, located right on the beach. A day at the spa at the boutique hotel with a view of the beach and a great patio for cocktails in the Cornish sun is another option. In addition to a fish and chip takeout and a railway branchline, Carbis Bay is home to a selection of small, locally owned stores and eateries. I have stayed in this apartment before with my parents. It is as lovely as I remembered in 2022. Balcony is stunning, shame we didn't have the weather! St Ives is a 25 minute walk away + visiting the harbour spa is a must!

Recommend gardens at Heligan + Trewidden, walks along the coast path and restaurants at Porthleven (esp. Kata Kai + The Square).
