Guests say

Guests have praised 'Black Rock' for its spaciousness, comfort, and sea views. The property is well-furnished with quality amenities and is conveniently located for beach and town access, though the uphill position may not suit everyone. Parking challenges are noted, yet the property's proximity to attractions and overall charm are consistently appreciated.

There is no specific mention of cleanliness in the reviews, so it is not possible to provide a score for this category.

The location is highly regarded for its proximity to beaches and the town centre, with a beautiful sea view. However, the uphill position and parking difficulties slightly affect the score.

The property is described as spacious and comfortable, with a particularly comfy mattress and well-furnished living spaces, contributing to a high comfort score.

The property is equipped with good quality utensils and amenities. However, the lack of parking facilities and the challenges associated with it have led to a deduction in the score.

While guests have expressed satisfaction with the property's furnishings and amenities, there is no mention of gifts or extra thoughtful touches, so this category cannot be scored.

Really good location, 5 minutes walk from Porthmeor beach to the North, and 5 minutes to the main town/harbour area to the East. No parking provided, but there is enough space on the street to unload the car for 5-10 minutes without blocking access. After unloading we parked the car at the Trenwith car park - this is about a 10 minute walk away, down and up some steep hills but only costs £26 for a 1 week pass. Always managed to get a space (may be harder during the summer holidays). The flat itself is on the ground floor, few steps down from the backdoor / few steps up to the front door. The main living area and ktichen is really nice and there is a sea view from the window. The main bedroom is quite small, 1x double bed and some shelves. It is attached to a large en-suite bathroom. The flat also has a seperate WC and a small room with bunk beds and a wardrobe. The flat was a decent enough size for the 2 of us and the dog, it would probably be quite tight for 4 people though. Would definitely stay again as it is great for getting to the best parts of St Ives quickly (coming back up the hills might not be as swift though!).

Great little holiday property and fantastic location. Parking is a nightmare though. It is double yellows or permit holders only, everywhere. The owners should really consider providing a permit for guests to use. It seems plenty of others do this already. The car park that is near by is very small and always full. You have to keep driving round and round until you get a space. Lots of people doing this so it can take a long time to get a space. When you have a dog and lots of bags, this is not very practical. I would recommend the property but I feel the parking needs to be made aware to guests more.

Nice sized property for 2 people in a good location for beaches and town. It's up a hill, so if you would struggle with this, then it's not for you.
