Guests say

Penthouse View in St Ives is praised for its stunning sea views, well-equipped kitchen, and comfortable furnishings. Guests appreciate the thoughtful touches, such as welcome packs and beach towels. While some cleanliness issues are noted, the property's location and the comfort it provides are consistently lauded. The uphill walk and occasional maintenance matters are mentioned, but overall, guests report enjoyable stays and express a desire to return.

Most guests found the property clean and well-presented, though there were a few instances of oversight, such as unclean hobs and a blocked sink. The property seems to be generally maintained to a good standard of cleanliness, but there is room for improvement, particularly in attention to detail.

The property's location is highly praised for its outstanding sea views and proximity to the town centre, with easy access to local amenities. The uphill walk is noted but is generally considered worth the effort for the views and peaceful setting.

Guests find the beds comfortable and the living spaces cosy, contributing to a pleasant stay. Some guests mention the property can get quite warm, suggesting the need for blinds or air conditioning, but overall, the comfort level is high.

The property is well-equipped with a range of facilities, making for an enjoyable self-catering experience. However, there are comments about maintenance issues such as non-functioning fans, a faulty hob switch, and the need for updated safety equipment checks, which slightly detract from the overall experience.

Guests frequently mention and appreciate the thoughtful extras provided, such as welcome packs with local food items and beach towels. While these gifts enhance the experience, it's important to note that such amenities may vary and are not guaranteed with every stay.

Wonderfully presented - full marks to the cleaning staff. Plenty of crockery, cutlery, glassware and an array of useful cooking items if you prefer (like we did!) to cook in! Comfy beds and a good shower too. Best thing was the fantastic view over the sea - sun up and moon up. A bit chilly for the balcony but a great place for breakfast if the weather is warm. Thank you!

Great location (steep climb up from town, but it helped to work off the ice-creams!) with a wonderful view. Really well equipped and easy to live in. Very glad that the window blinds were in place, beach towels were a handy addition. Didn't hear any noise from other apartments. Would definitely stay here again.
