Guests have enjoyed the hot tub, garden, and the property's proximity to the beach and town centre. The welcoming touches like films, games, and a welcome pack have been appreciated, contributing to a homely feel.

The property generally maintains good cleanliness, with clean bathrooms and provided toiletries. However, some guests noted areas under the beds that had been overlooked, indicating room for improvement in thoroughness.

The location is highly regarded, being within a short walk to Porthmear beach and the town centre. The convenience of the location adds to the property's appeal.

The property offers a comfortable stay with soft sofas, a large dining table, and a well-equipped kitchen. The beds have received mixed feedback due to the zip-link feature, but overall sleep quality was satisfactory.

The open living space and kitchen area really make the place amazing because when you cook, you can still be enjoying the family fun. The real garden with trees and lots of beatiful plants and grass was wonderful compared to modern day, easy maintainence concrete spaces. Spernenwyn absolutely had everything we needed to really enjoy a great break in beautiful Cornwall. If you want me to be picky, then I’d say thicker quilts on the beds for September bookings, and sort both sets of taps in the kitchen, as one doesn’t work and the other one splashes enough to need a bath mat on the worktop and floor. The living room is really comfy which you need after a busy day. The light switches are all labelled - very thougtful. I did the cooking and loved the kitchen area with all the space. We are booking next year as soon as we sort out parking for a third car for our other daughter to join us. Thank you for a great stay from Elaine, Aurel, Elena, Simon, Selena and Matteo

. It truly is home from home. We were so impressed with how much thought had gone into the comforts and requirements of holidaymakers. Even fine details such as the books, games, toiletries, hot tub, welcome pack ....... beautifully decorated home and well kept gardens. Honestly it was exceptional. Each one of us said straight away that we would definitely return to this property again. Thankyou. PS. Whoever did the cleaning deserves a special mention!!

The space, the storage, parking, hot tub, all contributed to our ability to relax and enjoy ourselves. We slept well, and the beds were as described, zip-link, so that wasn’t the shock to us as it seemed to be for others. Bathrooms and towels were lovely and there was plenty of hot water and good water pressure in the shower. The kitchen was well equipped and can’t be improved, the fridge freezer was excellent. However, there are some negatives and whilst we don’t want to overly criticise, some comments are necessary. Our first impression was spoiled as we walked into the garden to be met with overgrown “grass” which was just a collection of long weeds. It looked so scruffy and we were disappointed. No one came during our stay to cut this, so I’m not sure what the arrangements are. It shouldn’t be something that a guest should have to feed back - grass grows, so you need a regular gardener. Indoors the property looked great at first glance and on the surface but the place is starting to look scruffy and not well cared for. I doubt the king size bed downstairs has been moved in months to be cleaned under, as it was dreadful. We always check whether anything has rolled under the bed before we leave and were horrified by the debris and thick dust that had clearly built up over time. The bed is on a hard floor so is easily movable. We booked a couple of months before the date of travel and therefore the price we paid was lower than usual, so we still feel that we had fair value for money when we take into account the cost of running the hot tub etc. However, looking ahead at the normal weekly cost, it can’t be justified for us, as this property needs some attention if it is to compete with other similar sized properties with the same facilities that we have also stayed in.
