Lovely place and great location although the footpath to the beach was too muddy to use so had to walk on the road but only took 5 mins and it wasn’t too busy. There is no pub in Porthcothan despite various websites saying so but the hut by the beach is very good. The coastal path either side of the beach is easy to walk and cafe near Bedruthan Steps is excellent, we continued past it to Mawgan Porth which has a couple of nice restaurants. There is a very good bakery in St Merryn which also had a selection of frozen meals so no need to cook. The accommodation was very well done, our only complaint was there wasn’t anywhere to hang coats which was a problem especially when they were wet but I have mentioned this to the owner. We found the utility useful for drying the dog towels and keeping muddy boots in. Overall an excellent stay. ,

Absolutely wonderful stay at this lovely cottage. Very well appointed and equipped. Everything is spotlessly clean and tidy. Felt at home from the minute we arrived! Lovely location, great views from the garden. Well placed for visiting the local area. Handy for the bus to Newquay/ Padstow. Lovely sunsets. Great for stargazing on a clear night. Loved it here and didn't want to leave!

Superb high quality property with exceptional attention to detail. Quality kitchenware (unusual to have sharp cooking knives!) and underfloor heating excellent. Location great with short walk to beach and coast path. Light pollution free so star gazing special. Great views of sunsets from the garden. Highly recommend.
