Daymer Bay and the village of Trebetherick were both loved by Sir John Betjeman and are unquestionably special. With a huge appeal to both the young and not so young, Daymer Bay has recently been voted one of the best beaches in the world! St. Enodoc Church, once buried in the sand, is within comfortable walking distance of Daymer Bay and is the resting place of Sir John Betjeman. Daymer Bay holds great appeal for wind surfers with the waves rolling up the estuary. There is enormous fun too for small children with buckets and spades and fishing in the rock pools. Up from the coast path as it runs from Daymer Bay is Highcliffe, nestling between Polzeath and Trebetherick, both of which boast a number of pubs, restaurants and village stores all offering a wide variety of fresh quality produce. The properties at Highcliffe have the advantage of being within easy reach of Daymer, Polzeath and Greenaway - Greenaway being the name given to the clifftop area, beach and small cove with rock pools overlooking the Atlantic beyond that lies between Daymer and Polzeath.

The property is superb and we really enjoy our time there. Everything is perfect for a beach location holiday.

It is a great property in a great location. Improvements could be the booking system getting back to pre covid timings ie getting in property earlier. The internal decoration was getting a bit tired, but the location more than makes up for it. Thanks for the stay.

Eventually after a week you said you could help but by then I was already travelling. You ask your clients to message- however as you failed to reply to my message your website will not allow me to message-- it still doesn't. B) Bodare 8 is a lovely flat but it is now tired. I have stayed there 3 times over the past 15 years and nothing has been updated. Eg the dishwasher broke on the Monday night due to blocked drain. I tried to ring 3 times and each time was put on hold. eventually on Wed pm I was eventually connected and presumably your plumber has fixed the dishwasher for the next tenant. We therefore had to wash up for 3 days. C) the main oven is still broken. We had dinner with the owner on the Monday night and he confirmed that he knew it about it.. D) the inventory is woeful. the Flat sleeps 9- there are 7 mugs, 4 tea cups, only 2 saucers!, 7 side plates and only 8 wine glasses. There was no cork screw - we had to buy our own. E) the main shower drain still runs v slowly F) the hose for washing wetsuits have all been removed.. G) the kitchen cupboard door is missing I know this sounds like a rant but this is a premium apartment that you are not looking after. Combine the above with the absolute impossibility of contacting anyone at John Bray or Sykes and I told the owner that you were not providing a service and he should consider another agent
